What if you make a mistake?
Simply wipe off with a paper towel dipped in rubbing alcohol and re-write.
What if the pen is not writing on the tag?
First get the ink flowing by scribbling on a piece of paper, wipe tag with rubbing alcohol or soap, then begin writing again.
How does the writing stay on?
A special white material is placed on the back of the tag that allows ink to cure after it is boiled in water. If you don't boil the tag after it's been written, your writing will remain but can be rubbed off.
What if the writing doesn’t stay on?
Make certain that you write with a medium ballpoint pen. They have included a pen that writes on our tags in your package. Do not use a Sharpie or a gel pen, the ink from these pens do not cure to our tags for long periods of time.
What if the tag becomes dirty?
Wash with a little soap and water.
What if the information has faded?
Simply write on top of the existing letters using a medium ballpoint pen and follow the write boil and wear instructions again. Ink pens over time do fade. Simply write on top of the existing letters using a medium ballpoint pen and follow the write boil and wear instructions again. Please note that chlorine and bleach will fade the ballpoint pen ink.
Can the tag become loose?
These tag self attaches by looping through itself and is quite difficult to remove without hands. The self attaching loops has similar strength of your typical stainless steel loop that comes standard with any other tag to attach to the collar's D ring.
